India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) 2023 and RBI directives require certain categories of data — particularly financial and payments data — to be stored and processed within India. SEBI-regulated entities must also maintain data within Indian borders. These requirements are driving significant demand for in-country colocation from both domestic and international enterprises.
